Tiki Essentials: The eBook Edition

Several folks have contacted me, inquiring about an eBook version of Tiki Essentials.

Since Tiki for Dummies Smarties is currently with my editor, I've had time to explore this possibility. I've been playing with Sigil, an open source eBook editor, and the results have been promising!

By publishing Tiki Essentials in ePub format, it will become available on the iBooks store, in addition to LuLu and Amazon.

The ePub format can be read on many different devices, including the iPad and Android. The following table contains the details:

The Amazon Kindle does not support ePub, but I'm thinking of a separate, Kindle edition, too!

If I price the eBook edition at $8.99 (USD) is there a market? For comparison, the Using Drupal eBook is $19.97 on Amazon.

Is it worth the effort to have a Tiki presence in the eBook market? What do you think?
